We are currently recruiting for an Operations Coordinator to join our SSL Operations team.Stolt Tank Containers (STC) is a leading provider of door-to-door transportation services for bulk- liquid chemicals and food-grade products. With a fleet of more than 45,000 tank containers, STC is the only operator with its own worldwide network of 22 owned and joint venture depots. Working closely with our customers and vendors, you will provide customers with excellent service. Your expertise ensures that we will continue to set the industry benchmark for seamless and efficient operations.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle SSL operational matters for designated clients or regions. Provide professional customer service.Key Responsibilities

Ensure all bookings are implemented in a timely manner according to working procedure, settle daily operation issue in accordance with the policies and procedures of SSL and STC.
Timely update of STC and SSL systems and necessary documentation.
Ensure all freight, demurrage and other invoices are raised correctly and in a timely manner. Assist in verifying vendors invoices as/when required. Support the Operations Manager on compiling the forecast bookings.
Set up good relationship with both customers and vendors. Monitor and manage vendor's service, make sure all vendors/agents' service meet SSL's requirement.
Actively participate in data and information sharing with Commercial and Accounting team, suggesting when possible, solutions generating improved service, cost or quality result for SSL and its customers.
Accompany on customer visits, if required.

Qualifications

College / University degree preferred or suitable industry experience.
General background knowledge of forwarding and shipping industry.
Strong international experience and awareness of cultures.
Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Must be ethical, organized and able to prioritize and set goals.
Common sense and problem solving skills required.
