Job descriptionSome careers have more impact than others.If you're looking for a career where you can make a real impression, join HSBC and discover how valued you'll be.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.Business: Enterprise Technology L3Principal responsibilitiesThe job holder is accountable as the business analyst within the team to enable the team to deliver products and services of Generative AI, and continually help the team to improve technically. This role will carry out some or all of the following activities:

Working globally on supporting requirements from the business as it relates to the Risk&Compliance IT systems and leverage GEN AI capabilities.
Collaborating with Product Owner, Solution Architect, engineering team to identify changes required, create and agree necessary stories.
Providing support to the countries/regions for research, training, and guidance on the Risk&Compliance IT systems.
Work with the Scrum Master to ensure efficient flow of the backlog of change activities.
Coordinate with PO and test team to develop test plans and ensure that solutions meet business requirements through effective testing processes.
Responsible for ensuring products and services maintain compliance with mandatory and regulatory requirements and control objectives within the risk and controls framework.
Responsible for ensuring group controls are maintained within the team activities and remediation activities are resolved swiftly.
Providing support to solution architect to ensure that solutions and services are supported by the right architectures & systems.

Requirements

Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering or similar comfort with technical discipline.
Must possess a proven business analytical background or related field with minimum 6 years of experience.
The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
Strong interpersonal, influencing, persuading and communication skills in English - applicable through multiple channels (written, spoken, workshops, presentations).
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
Competency in Collaboration tools, e.g., Confluence, Jira, Microsoft applications.
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, especially Generative AI (e.g. GPT, Gemini etc).
Banking domain in Risk & Compliance is an advantage.
Basic understanding of GEN AI workflows, RAG and tools.
Cloud (especially GCP), OpenAI project experience is an advantage.
Experience in PLSQL, SQL, Performance Tuning, shell scripting.
Experience in Prompt Engineering.
Proficiency in Agile Methodologies and experience with agile principles, practices, and frameworks (such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) .
Ability to work in short sprints, adapt to changing requirements, and facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams.
Excellent team leader and player, able to lead others into action, and with ability to work under minimal supervision.
