Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience dealing with C-level customers and driving sales through relationships in Greater China market.
  • Experience in bringing internal thought leadership, influencing cross-functional/cross-region stakeholders and executives, and scaling sales/product/process innovations beyond current markets.
  • Experience working with key stakeholders in multiple countries.
  • Experience managing Sales teams.
  • Track record of growing a successful business through innovative solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, communication and people management skills, coupled with experience in technology, media sales or cross channel media planning.

You will be part of a team dedicated to helping mobile application developers grow their business using Google products and services.As a Senior Sales Manager for Greater China (GrCN) AppDev, you will be responsible to grow the Hybrid (App + Web) business and lead the Scaled and Head D programs. You'll lead and coach business development people managers and teams that use consultative sales skills to understand our advertisers' needs and deliver measurable solutions that grow their businesses, thereby growing and accelerating the revenue tier up of these clients to enrich the graduation pipelines to Head T programs.You will also work with the sales leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business. You will help your teams and partner directly with clients to provide comprehensive service. You are an excellent communicator with a proven ability to train and motivate a large team, and you take an analytical approach to sales management. You will create strategic growth opportunities and cultivate relationships with key clients. You will partner closely with AppDev’s global leadership team, external industry bodies as well as stakeholders within the wider Google organization to accelerate our position in the fast growing and strategic app/gaming business.   • Manage, inspire and motivate a team of client-facing and high-performing people managers and Googlers. Build a team structure, recognize leadership potential and support career development through enhancing capabilities within the team.
  • Engage with executive internal cross-functional/cross-region stakeholders and executives to bring GRCN thought leadership and scale sales/product/process innovation. Provide coaching on engaging with stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Assess the needs of our customers and gather user feedback to improve upon existing solutions. Design and iterate workflows and operational plans for large-scale ideas.
  • Execute projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research and strategic development. Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on the global GCS Sales priorities.
  • Ensure team readiness to deliver complex solutions and create a culture of sales innovation and customer success on the team.
