Job Id: 40419 | Location: Shanghai, Shanghai, ChinaResponsibilities:
  • Technical support according to priorities defined by Project Manager and/or Project Leader
  • Manufacturing of Lab Trials for prototypes and formulability studies
  • Formulate skin care, hair care, makeup and sun care… products
  • Develop formulations to illustrate Lucas Meyer Cosmetics by Clariant ingredients portfolio
  • Study chassis formulas, understand composition, ingredients functions, choice of ingredients, manufacturing process
  • Prepare and manufacturing of the bulk (from 200g to 3kg)
  • Launch stability studies: management of samples, follow up and analysis according to global procedure
  • Document all formulas and stability in lab notebook/Coptis according to global formulation procedure and ensure precise follow up and documentation on all formulas and studies
  • Identify, analyse and communicate in a timely manner in case of issues to secure project management
  • On demand production of bulks (clinical tests, prototypes…manufacturing/filling/ labelling)
  • Trainings and exhibitions: Supports/takes part of hands-on lab demos in customers' labs or in LMC lab facilities; prepares of prototypes/ raw materials/ equipments…Depending on experience and customer profile, may handle alone such training sessions
  • Laboratory handling:
  • Contribute daily to cleanliness and safety
  • Ensure equipments good usage and maintenance follow up
  • Ensure supply of consumables, raw materials and packaging articles
  • Participates actively to stocks management
  • Communication: Ensure good communication of results during studies, development of prototypes and sharing of technical and scientific learnings when attending trainings/ seminars/ trade shows…
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in science or chemistry or cosmetic fields
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years in a cosmetic formulation laboratory, in charge of same missions (either in a similar function or in a company developing finished products)
  • Eventually fresh graduates in cosmetic related field with comprehensive knowledge on cosmetics
  • Creative mind and Innovative thinking, Communication skills (teamwork: regional and global interactions); including english
  • Computer skills: formulation software, Microsoft office (outlook, excel, power point) and internet
  • Organized, reactive and rigorous
  • Can work alone, can-do attitude
