- Production Management:
- Plan, organize, and direct daily production operations to meet output targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Develop and manage production budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Quality Assurance & Control:
- Ensure strict adherence to all food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP) and company quality standards.
- Oversee quality control procedures, including raw material inspection, in-process checks, and finished product testing.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues, implement root cause analysis, and develop preventive measures.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production supervisors and operators, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and implement development programs.
- Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety regulations.
- Operations & Maintenance:
- Manage the preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams on new product introductions and process improvements.
- Manage inventory of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to ensure optimal levels.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local and international food and beverage industry regulations.
- Prepare regular production reports, analyze data, and present findings to senior management.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering (Industrial, Chemical, or Mechanical), Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of [X] years of progressive experience in production management within the food and beverage manufacturing industry, with at least [Y] years in a leadership role. (Suggest 8-10 years overall, 3-5 years in leadership).
- Strong understanding of food safety management systems (HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP) is essential.
