Senior Engineer - Product Safety & Quality

• Follow up safety standards and guides in China for applications applied to the products, such as genset, industrial, etc.
• Work with other teams e.g. R&D team in development projects following process and guide of product safety management.
• Document safety related analysis, at Gate or step of project progress.
• Take lead on all product safety topics in region of China, and report to headquarter for support if necessary.

• Manage quality tasks in PSB project and customer, mainly focusing on genset and KPP application. Work on quality tasks on other applications when capacity is allowed.
• Involve in PSB project, and assure quality is considered and assured in project before delivery to customer.
• Take lead on quality investigation, by initiating taskforce from the other teams to support.
• Coordinate with SME (Subject Matter Expert) in headquarter to support investigation when necessary.
• Use investigation or RCA (Root Cause Analysis) tools such as 5-why, hypothesis creation, logical check, etc.
• Perform comprehensive and overall investigation with taskforce, from field at customer, to system of product, to engine, to even part.
• Compile overall and integrated investigation report and document it.
• Support business department to communicate with customer on the investigation from technical side when necessary.
