Learning Specialist (Corporate Role)

- Deliver existing & new training programs (virtual / face-to-face training) to hotel colleagues
- Ensure learning is embedded by working with Operations team and HR colleagues to ensure effective support, coaching and mentoring is in place.
- Analyze learning needs and identify current learning gaps, understand targeted audience groups learning styles and preferences.
- Provide logistics and coordination support to learning programs
- Revisit programs which have been implemented and make sure programs are updated and feedbacks are incorporated.
- Leverage global digital learning resources and IHG University platform as appropriate and identify areas where localization is required.
- Creatively design digital learning campaigns and events to attract, engage, and motivate hotel front-line users to learn and grow on WeLearn platform.
- Support global learning strategic project and initiatives and local learning projects.
- Design and implement internal marketing and communication activities to promote learning programs and IHG University.
- Maintain training standards, catalogues and other supporting tools/documents that are related to IHG University.
- At least 5 years of work experience in training, instruction design or project management;
- Working experience in training function, especially hospitality industry background is preferred.
- Experience with training delivery, strong training delivery skill is a plus
- Ability to design, facilitate and deliver learning programs with impact
- Project management skills to scope, plan and deliver project key milestones
- Excellent interpersonal, consultative, and communication skills with excellent English proficiency both verbal and written.
- Ability to diagnose problems and thoroughly analyze information to guide decision-making.
- Prefer to have hotel industry experience and training delivery skills, e.g., certifications of training skills.
