- Own end-to-end certification projects for ABB products: application, sample submission, test monitoring, and certificate acquisition.
- Coordinate national and provincial surveillance-inspection campaigns (Guo Chou & Sheng Chou): sample preparation, data analysis, appeal dossier creation, and technical defense.
- Liaise with certification bodies and test laboratories to resolve technical issues and accelerate ABB certification timelines.
- Maintain and update all ABB product certificates (renewal, modification, extension) and operate an electronic certificate ledger with expiry alerts.
- Track evolving global regulations and standards, assess impact on ABB portfolios, and provide design-in compliance guidance.
- Support factory audits for ABB; guide cross-functional teams to correct non-conformities and verify closure.
- Review R&D outputs (drawings, BOM, manuals, labels) for certification manufacturability to avoid late design changes.
- Establish and maintain an ABB internal design-spec library (creepage, CTI, flammability, critical components).
- Issue the master Certification Plan, align milestones with ABB product-launch gates, and integrate into project-management systems.
- Freeze certification build versions, seal and photograph reference samples, and ensure full traceability.
- Schedule test slots, monitor real-time progress, and trigger rapid corrective loops on any failure.
- Organize witness tests; coordinate ABB engineers for on-site evidence collection.
- Manage certification change control: evaluate design, supplier, site, or process changes and execute delta testing when required.
- Exploit the CB scheme to convert CB reports into multiple certificates (CE, KC, etc.) and shorten ABB time-to-market.
- Scan quarterly market-surveillance and customs bulletins, benchmark against ABB shipped products, and initiate risk-mitigation actions.
- Conduct conformity audits of marks, nameplates, and packaging to prevent misuse or expired certificates.
- Lead certification lesson-learned reviews, update ABB standard design checklists, and feed modules into the reuse pool.
- Represent ABB during factory-quality-assurance audits and maintain related evidence.
- Develop and maintain certification e-learning packages and conduct annual training for ABB R&D, Product management, and Quality teams.
- Monitor carbon footprint, REACH, RoHS, WEEE, EPR, and other green regulations to secure ABB eco-compliance.
- Participate in national technical committees; propose standard revisions to embed ABB test methods.
- Build an external expert pool (certification bodies, labs), drive cost reduction for certification expense.
- Demonstrates ABB’s core values and group safety and integrity standards and acts accordingly.
- Implements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area.
- Ensures adherence to all relevant internal and statutory regulations and policies.
- Ensures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities.
- Demonstrates an understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) terms, concept application, reporting, and risks.
- Ensures adherence to the collaboration objectives of the team to maximize results for ABB.
- Leads their own development journey by seeking knowledge and learning opportunities within the team.
- Manages relationships with stakeholders in their own area of responsibility and ensures alignment.

- English Fluency (for international certification audits on behalf of ABB)
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Mechatronics.
- 5+ years of experience in low-voltage electrical industry.
- Proven experience in managing “Guo Chou” and “Sheng Chou” inspections.
- Hands-on experience in CCC, CE, or other product certifications.
- Strong understanding of product standards and testing methods.
- Excellent logical thinking and technical writing skills.
- Fluent in English for international audits and communication with ABB stakeholders.
- Experience with TĂśV, SGS, CQC, or other recognized certification bodies serving ABB.
- Background in product safety design, testing, or quality assurance within ABB or similar organizations.
