This role is responsible for managing regulatory-related activities in China to support business operations and mitigate uncertainties. It plays a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance for product importation into the Chinese market and actively participates in market-related activities, including compliance assurance and crisis management from a regulatory affairs perspective.1.Regulatory Compliance for Market Access
a.Lead pre-market product registrations for imported products, ensuring high-quality dossier preparation and effective feedback management to achieve timely government approval.
b.Provide regulatory compliance support for innovation projects involving new materials and product development.
c.Engage with and influence external stakeholders to establish or update regulations and industry standards.
d.Conduct competitor regulatory intelligence and share actionable insights to shape internal decision-making and external positioning.
e.Monitor regulatory and trade policy developments (e.g., tariffs, import/export requirements) to enable proactive responses and align long-term product and portfolio strategies for the China market.
2.Regulatory Compliance in Business Operations
a.Review product claims, labeling, and artwork to facilitate product launches.
b.Identify potential regulatory risks and communicate them internally to enable informed business decisions.
c.Provide technical support for external influence projects to drive business opportunities.
d.Enhance internal capabilities and streamline work processes to build a robust compliance system.
3.Quality & Crisis related Management
a.Lead or support regulatory-related activities in quality events, audits, or crises (e.g., import rejections, recalls, or trade disruptions).
b.Collaborate closely with internal quality, legal, and supply chain teams, as well as with external stakeholders including MARA, GACC, and international authorities, to resolve issues.
c.Act as a local regulatory lead in global crisis response teams when China-related regulatory matters arise
d.Work closely with the Global RA and Ingredients Innovation teams.
4.Customer & Consumer Care Support
a.Provide regulatory support for customer and consumer inquiries and complaints.
b.Assist with product quality and ingredient-related communications.
5.Regulatory Affairs Strategy & Industry Standards
a.Represent CPF China in the Mars China RA community.
b.Design and implement long-term RA strategies.
c.Participate in or lead trade-related advocacyGlobal well-known B2C food brand.Fast growing business in China with expansion strategy.1.8 years' above experience in regulatory affairs area.
2.Bachelor's degree or above in Food Science, Biotechnology, Chemical and related technical major.
3.Strong learning agility and adaptability, with curiosity and change mindset
4.Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5.Ability to work cross functions and cross geographies.
6. Fluent English communication skills.
7.Good team player, high attention to details, multi-tasking management capability, can follow up process efficiently and work independently.Our client is a global well-known B2C food brand with fast growing business in China market.International working platform.
