Marketing Sales&Service Finance Mgr__Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to provide financial expertise to the organization. Each day, you will compile and analyze metrics, identify trends and problems, and communicate information to relevant groups. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending actions to improve financial performance of a specific Marketing, Sales, or Service organization, as applicable.The work model for the role is: onsiteThis role is contributing to the ELSP&ELSB Marketing & Sales finance & controlling area in China.You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Analyzing the business performance versus budget and forecast and proposing improvement actions; and performing benchmarking of key performance indicators with industry competitors and similar sites within ABB.
  • Preparing financial modeling for various hypotheses and assessing impact to the service organization with special focus on service profitability, service costing/hourly rates, and over/under-absorption analysis.
  • Validating accuracy of financial data and business information and reporting by performing reconciliations and review of exceptions.
  • Providing information to the management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or accounting is required.
  • 5+ years of business controlling experience, or alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated performance and results; in the areas of business, finance, operational controlling and/or accounting.
  • Strong market and customer orientated, structured and results oriented leader with strong analytical and operational controlling skills.
  • Familiar with Digital Finance tools
  • Business oriented mindset to support business development, familiar with Market and sales activities in product business model
  • Cost management, Process excellence and Solid SAP knowledge/experience (CO/FI) preferred.
  • You are at ease communicating in English
