Process Engineer

• Improve, characterize and develop manufacturing processes for existing products as well as New Product Introductions (NPI);
• Drive and coordinate LEAN initiative, and engage Six Sigma tools for process improvements;
• Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout;
• Initiate and support the procurement and introduction of necessary fixtures and tooling for manufacturing NPIs and for process improvements;
• Participate in EHS related actions, to improve safety on the shop floor;
• Lead and effectively interface with manufacturing and other support teams to complete projects to meet EHS, production, quality, and cost savings goals within schedule and budget;
• Interface with vendors and internal contacts in an effective manner to ensure that the technical and EHS perspective is properly conveyed;
• Assure that all engineering designs and technical data are complete and accurately documented to provide an technical / historical base for future reference and to meet customer / end user requirements;
• Support the preparation of product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends;
• Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians / manufacturing associates.

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, electrical, mechatronics or automation or a related field;
• 3-5 years of experience in power semiconductor manufacturing environment working with production processes and equipment.Advanced experience in die bonding, soldering, wire bonding, X-ray measurement is preferred;
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities, problem-solving and decision-making skills;
• Experienced at Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or similar;
• Understand ISO9000 and ISO14000 system, familiar with SPC, PFMEA,CP and other tools are preferred;
• Cooperative, Creative, initiative character and team player spirit are desired.
