- Shape APAC and, especially, China, portfolio strategies, identifying gaps, priority products, and growth opportunities.
- Act as a trusted voice for China in APAC and global, influencing pipeline and investment decisions through clear, concise storytelling.
- Lead and contribute to long‑term strategic planning with market insights and robust business cases; facilitate executive discussions to align on trade‑offs and decision.
- Drive market mapping, business sizing, and portfolio analytics; synthesize findings into executive‑ready materials to guide investment priorities.
- Establish a regular cadence with APAC and global senior leaders to ensure transparency on priorities, risks, and decisions.
- Craft crisp executive briefs, decision memos, and senior presentations that clarify options, implications, and recommended actions.
- Facilitate cross‑functional alignment by encouraging constructive debate, capturing actions, and ensuring follow‑through.
- Build effective relationships with commercial leaders, functional heads, and global division leaders, acting as a connector to elevates local perspectives in appropriate forums.
- Lead pre‑commercialization planning for priority therapies with defined streams across regulatory, reimbursement, clinical, medical affairs, and supply chain.
- Build and pressure‑test business cases for new partnerships and upstream opportunities, with clear timelines, owners, and cross‑functional input.
- Track commercialization KPIs and milestones; communicate progress and course‑corrections to global, regional, and local stakeholders.
- Provide limited, focused support to downstream marketing when needed to resolve major strategic challenges.
- Review and refine the APAC product roadmap to ensure portfolio sustainability; present recommendations in a decision‑ready format.
- Ensure global division understands China/APAC’s growth and competitive needs and negotiate priorities collaboratively.
- Partner closely with country leaders, especially China, APAC executives, and global division to align commercialization priorities and resource deployment.
- Build collaboration with Regulatory, Clinical, HEOR, Finance, Supply Chain, and Quality to drive execution; clarify roles, decisions, and interdependencies.
- Engage Chinese and regional KOLs to gain customer perspectives that inform strategies; summarize insights for senior decision makers.
- Drive local partnerships with select OEMs, partners and suppliers to support growth needs.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, Master’s, or equivalent) preferred.
- 8–10+ years in commercial, marketing, or strategic roles within medical devices or healthcare.
- Proven experience in portfolio strategy, commercialization planning, or market access, ideally including multiple APAC markets.
- Demonstrated success leading cross‑functional teams and engaging senior stakeholders in a matrixed global organization.
- Experience working closely with Regulatory, Clinical, HEMA and R&D functions.
- Background in interventional cardiology/cardiovascular or related therapeutic areas strongly preferred.
- Management consulting experience highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and executive presence; able to distill complex issues, frame options, and drive consensus with senior leaders.
- Collegial stakeholder management as a trusted relationship builder who influences without authority and navigates diverse viewpoints constructively.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical ability; adept at business cases, scenario planning, and market entry strategies.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese with strong presentation and writing skills tailored for executive audiences.
- Skilled facilitator: agenda design and follow‑through.
- Comfortable operating across cultures and geographies; adaptable in fast‑moving environments with shifting priorities.
- Willingness to travel across China, APAC, and globally (up to 30–40%)
