Purpose of the role:Oversee all operational aspects of assigned services and relay corridors, ensuring we deliver on our reliability commitments to customers. Responsibilities include scheduling, marine tasks, and capacity management of assets. We are proud of our diversity and see it as a genuine source of strength for building high performing teams.Key responsibilities:As a Coastal fulfillment lead , your responsibilities will include the following, amongst others:Customer and Schedule deliveryOwn and perform scheduling and marine tasks related to the on-time delivery of set schedule for assigned services and deliver schedule reliability outcomesOwn, manage, communicate, and execute on contingencies and schedule recovery for assigned services, guided by connection planning and hub integrity and keeping the customer impact at the center of the decision.Adhere to Shuttle Working Procedure and Service Level Commitments (SLC) on assigned Gemini ShuttlesActively evaluate integrity of proforma schedules and be part of the solution to improve schedule integrityMonitor connections to/from ocean going vessels ensuring connectivity, taking corrective action to enable delivering as promisedCapacity ManagementOwn and manage standard tasks and processes related to capacity management of our space/assets on assigned services and/or relay legsProactively plan and deliver consistent capacity to meet our requirementsProactively plan, manage, and execute flex capacity within defined processes/limits to meet variations in demandMonitor volume development on the service/trade, ensuring SOC limits at ports are not exceeded.Cost and OptimizationDrive bunker efficiency on assigned servicesDrive costs reductions and capacity optimization across our assetsSupport the execution of empty flow through close collaboration with the equipment and flow teams management and downfall analysis, including flex capacity managementMaximize utilization together with commercial teams with proactive planning, communications, and active capacity managementProcess Execution, Continuous Improvements, and CollaborationAdopt mindset of network thinking and execution excellenceDisciplined adherence to standard processes and actively engages in continuous improvements, including tests, policies, and system designWho we are looking for:Live up with company valuePassionate for driving customer outcomes.Capable to handle multi-taskProblem-solving flair combined with natural initiative and curiosity.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills which are essential for collaborating with colleagues across different functions.A team player who cares about the people around you and is willing to help others out when needed.Result orientation, always pushing for best possible customer outcome while maintaining the right balance for internal drivers.Maersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
