Assistant Manager, EHS Master Data

- In this role, you are responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance of product safety and master data for raw materials and finished goods to secure legal compliance for EC business operations.
- In this position, you act as the regional EHS master data specialist for EC Asia Pacific. Together with the Assistant Manager EHS Master Data and our Global Master Data Team, you will engage in close collaboration to streamline processes and enhance data accuracy.
- You will serve as the EHS master data gatekeeper for the introduction of new raw materials in the region and work closely with our APAC plants.
- Responsibilities include maintaining accurate EHS data to generate compliant documents for our products, such as Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and labels.
- In this role, you are tasked with leading the implementation of new processes and tools and conducting training for Asia Pacific sites in alignment with the global EC strategy, ensuring that all teams are equipped to meet evolving regulatory requirements.
- Your contributions will be vital in fostering a culture of safety and compliance across the region.
- Completed scientific studies (B.Sc or M. Sc) in natural science.
- Familiarity with the business unit's portfolio, markets, and industries.
- Well-versed in IT applications, with at least 3 years working experience in SAP EHS system in product safety or chemical legislation area, coatings, fine chemical industrial relevant experience preferred.
- High level of commitment and teamwork skills, flexibility, customer orientation, as well as independent and structured work approach.
- Experience in developing and managing projects, as well as analyzing and solving problems.
- Clear and authentic communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, translate technical information clearly.
- Entrepreneurial thinking, pragmatism, and hands-on mentality.
