Job Category: Advanced Manufacturing EngineeJob Description:Job Responsibilities:New Product Introduction * Be the AME single point of contact for NPI launches management within Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
  • Support AME team for timely execution of new lines & processes industrialization to meet PAT, FAT and ODT deadlines and to ensure complete NPI handover to Plant of newly installed processes with AME Technical teams.
  • Support the Estimation of internal Manufacturing Capex definition for conversion cost calculation for EV-Cooling technologies products working in close cooperation with AME Technical teams, Platform cost leader (PCL) and Finance team.
  • Evaluate Product Manufacturability and proactively suggest Design Changes to reduce Product Cost and improve Quality, leading the cross-functional team for DFM, PFMEA and MRL for 'EV-Cooling'
  • Track Lesson Learnt from Proto Build and former launches to drive design changes where necessary, create specific Proto-Scorecard reports and involve AME Technical leaders for the first build event of own GBE.
  • Actively support the definition of Core/Non-core Manufacturing Strategy for New Product Designs, Collaborating with Industrialization Leader for Make Versus Buy Process working close with AME / SBM / Eng / Procurement and Should Cost team.
  • Support AME Leaders on Strategic planning and AOP activities for the own GBE.
  • Lead the own GBE Manufacturing LIR and FIR reviews and related Action plan within the AME team and support the related RCA.
  • Ensure DFM drivers are updated and used with own GBE Engineering team.
Manufacturing processes development * Support definition of specification book for new equipment with AME Technical teams and participate to line \ equipment's \ tooling final design reviews and process validation phases.
  • Support the definition and audit of PI and QCI related to new processes.
  • Support the review after 180 days from SOP to track any lesson learnt and improvement opportunities.
  • Actively supports AME Technical teams and drive generation & protection of IP for key internal new manufacturing processes in the Zero Emission Technologies (e.g. develop IP, patented design features, trade secrets with equipment and tooling suppliers)
Job Requirements: * University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related major.
  • At least 10 Years of experience in manufacturing process development in automotive industry.
  • Ability in managing complex projects with multiple goals of time, cost and quality.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and cross-functional team experience.
  • Ability to provide solutions, drive and influence others and impart a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment.
  • Good level of spoken and written English.
