In your new role you will:
- Develop and deploy the assigned category strategy
- Fulfill KPIs for category manager role such as savings, payment terms, multiple sourcing, best cost country sourcing, sustainability, etc.
- Responsible for PSD and other relevant reporting tools
- Responsible for contract management
- Lead risk management assessment and deploy risk mitigations
- Act as a champion role to lead the cross-functional procurement team
- Co-ordinate a cross-functional team within and outside procurement team
- Manage tier 1 and multiple tier suppliers strategically and professionally
- Support BCCS (Best Cost Country Sourcing) projects for the responsible category
- Support market intelligence reports of the responsible categories
- Support local team on site upon request
- Support special procurement projects or tasks upon request
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Master or Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering Disciplines
- Minimum 10 year experience in category management or / and strategic sourcing role
- Fluent in English and Chinese, German language a plus
- High sense of responsibility and ability to work independently
- Goal-oriented way of working with strong strategic thinking skills
- Strong entrepreneur spirit
- Proactive, determined, structured and solution-oriented approach to work
- Strong communication skills with working with different levels of internal and external stakeholders
- Positive mindset and high resilience capability
