Then read on.About the RoleThe position servers as indirect procurement in AIA Life China Headquarter (CHO) lever, with the application of data analytic and business control expertise to contribute to AIA procurement team’s excellence operation.
Conduct routine business control activies to ensure and enhance compliance. Data analysis and generate report to bring insight to procurement peers and management team. Develops and nurtures internal cross-functional relationships. Collaborates with peers in procurement team to enhace the business control process and procedure. Develops efficient channels for capturing effective market intelligence.Roles and Responsibilities:Business Control Testing 30%

Perform routine business control testing with clear procedure and record.
Contribute to business control procedure & process enhancement

Data & Report 30 %

Data analysis and deliver insight to peers in procurement and to management
Reporting and Filing generation to contribute to efficiency operation in procurement team

System maintenance Support 15%

Support procurement system innovation project including procurement data & risk control automation, supplier master data maintenance and configuration, keep monitoring of system performance and contribute to enhancement etc.

Vendor management 10%

Implement vendor management strategy to monitor vendors’ performance to ensure cost effective and efficient supply
Ensure vendor review process is cross-functional and includes key business stakeholders to ensure vendor is delivering perceived value
Ensure regular discussion of opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement

Contract Management 10%

Ensure procurement review process is effective and comply with standard requirements
Maintain procurement contract database to ensure data accuracy and comprehensiveness

Purchasing Metrics 5%

Ensure that all purchasing savings are tracked and reported in accordance with AIA procurement guideline

Job Requirements:

Academic qualification: College degree or above. Previous sourcing experience is preferred
Technical/skill training: Category knowledge with market insight. Familiar with procurement system.
Working experience: 5+ years working experience in procurement related area.
Knowledge for commodity strategy development & marketing insight.
Strong data analysis skills, familiar with data analysis & reporting tools.
Team player, excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders
