This role is critical in ensuring operational continuity, scalability, and alignment with business and compliance requirements across life insurance functions.Key Responsibilities:Platform Development & Maintenance
  • Oversee end-to-end software development lifecycle for Office Automation tools (workflow engines, document management, approval systems, etc.).
  • Ensure platform stability, performance, and scalability to support BAU operations across departments.
  • Lead OA integration efforts with other application systems
Team Leadership & Technical Oversight
  • Manage a team of developers and technical leads, providing mentorship and performance guidance.
  • Assign development tasks, review code, and ensure adherence to architectural standards and security protocols.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with business Owner to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, infrastructure teams, and cybersecurity to ensure platform alignment with enterprise standards.
Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure all development activities comply with internal audit, regulatory, and data privacy standards.
  • Maintain documentation and change logs for audit readiness and operational transparency.
Innovation & Optimization
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve user experience.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies (e.g., RPA, low-code platforms, AI).
Perform other responsibilities and duties assigned by management on ad hoc basisJob Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software development, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven experience in life insurance systems and business processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Office Automation platforms, workflow engines, and integration frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • PMP, or equivalent certifications.
