- Manage trade compliance programmes across China and the APAC region to ensure alignment with local and international regulations.
- Provide expert advice on trade compliance matters, including import/export controls and sanctions.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training to mitigate compliance risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of compliance requirements into operational processes.
- Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement in trade compliance practices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and communicate their impact to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with external bodies, such as customs authorities, to resolve compliance-related issues.
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management and relevant authorities as required.
- Proven expertise in trade compliance within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of import/export regulations and sanctions in China and the APAC region.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to manage complex compliance issues.
- Ability to develop and deliver training programmes on compliance topics.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- A degree in a relevant field, such as law, business, or international trade.
