Job Category: Information TechnologyJob Description:JOB SUMMARYThis role is responsible to ensure the scalable, secure, and efficient IT infrastructure in Greater China with focus onfollowing pillar but not limited to:· Cloud Management· Cloud Network & Security· DevOpsThe successful candidate will be leading a team to design, implement, and maintain Marriott's cloud-based IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance and to manage DevOps principles and practices.This role will be reporting into VP of EA and Engineering for Greater China.CORE WORK ACTIVITIESKey Responsibilities· Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute the organization's cloud & network infrastructure, DevOps roadmap in line with continent(Great China) tech strategy and global standard
Align infrastructure initiatives with business goals, emphasizing cost optimization and agility
Ensure adherence to IT policies, standards, and regulations related to cloud and network management
Drive innovation and continuous improvement in cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes

· Cloud Management & Architecture

Oversee cloud operations (Alicloud, AWS) including migration, resource allocation, and cost management
Design resilient, scalable cloud architectures for SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS environments
Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans in the cloud environment
Monitor and analyze cloud performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost optimization

· Cloud Network & Security

Optimize cloud network performance (VPCs, VPNs, CDNs) and troubleshoot connectivity
Implement security frameworks (Zero Trust, encryption) and ensure compliance (CBDT, GDPR, etc.)

· DevOps

Following global DevOps practice and process, drive the adoption of DevOps principles and practices across the organization, including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines(Harness), and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and manage the respective capabilities and processes
Promote DevOps culture, integrating monitoring tools for system reliability
Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and operation of cloud services
Plan and implement DevSecOps for the long term

· Budget & Vendor Management

Manage infrastructure budgets and negotiate contracts with cloud vendors

· Global Collaboration

Working closely with global colleagues and follow Marriott's global infrastructure strategy, process and policy.
Acting as the on the ground bridge of between GC and global infrastructure team.

· Team Leadership

Build an inclusive team working environment
Mentor cloud engineers, network specialists, and DevOps teams
Foster cross-departmental collaboration with software development and security teams
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in cloud technology and DevOps tools

· On Time Delivery

Ensure all the infrastructure setup efforts are well planned and communicated with global infrastructure team to get their resource and priority following the process.
As on the ground part of global infrastructure team to deliver the infrastructure architecture design, setup and configuration within the reasonable lead time, to support the on time delivery of all Greater China projects of Marriott.

Managing Key Stakeholders Expectation· Participate as a domain leader on continent, task forces and working groups assigned by VP, EA and Engineering, Greater China, ensuring Greater China interests are covered.· Collaborate with technology partners sourcing local technologies within region.· Support continent initiatives from other disciplines from Digital and Technology team· Act as infrastructure advisor for continent disciplines and business enabling solutions as requireEducation and Experience· Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or related field; Master's preferred· 10+ years in IT infrastructure, with 5+ years in leadership

Proven expertise in cloud platforms (Alicloud/AWS/Azure), ACK/EKS and DevOps practices
Familiarity with WAN technologies (future-focused such as SD-WAN).

Technical Skills· Experience in multi-cloud management· Be familiar with Agile methodology, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, etc.), networking (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP)· Be familiar with security standards (ISO 27001, NIST) and monitoring tools· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities· Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)Key Stakeholders· VP EA & Engineering, Greater China· VP IT Operation, Greater China· VP Digital and Enterprise Product, Greater China· SD Information Security, Greater China· Other Continent Digital and Technology Peer group· Peer groups of cloud and DevOps in HQAt Marriott International, we are dedicated to being an equal opportunity employer, welcoming all and providing access to opportunity.
