About this Position
  • The APAC Adhesive Technologies Marketing and Strategy is a team within Henkel that is responsible for 1) developing strategic agenda in APAC region and 2) systematically developing top talents. The team is set at corporate level with close collaboration with Henkel Adhesive Technologies' nine SBUs (Strategic Business Unit).
  • We offer a unique platform to accelerate the development of candidates for key strategic positions. Team members normally spend 2-3 years in the program to work on impactful projects while developing their leadership skills and career path within Henkel. The projects are typically cross-SBU/ function and a mix of country, regional and global initiatives.
What you´ll do
  • Strategy Manager, APAC will have opportunities to:
- Lead a series of high-profile projects within the APAC region, including topics such as growth strategy, new market entry, operating model design and M&A.
- Gain exposure to senior management, different SBUs and functions.
- Learn about the overall adhesive business and chart future career pathway in Henkel via tailored coaching and training programs.
  • Typical projects include:
- Growth strategy: Partner with SBUs to sharpen strategies and drive change agenda.
- New market entry: Identify emerging market opportunities (e.g., hydrogen, satellite, drones, etc.) with significant upside for region.
- Operating model design: Diagnostic operating model to unlock full potential growth for region or specific business/ function.
- M&A: Scan and identify emerging local targets for M&A/ strategic partnership.What makes you a good fit
  • Bachelor's degree and above from top-tier universities; MBA preferred,
  • At least 3 years of working experience in a top-tier management consultancy; Meanwhile, investment banking/ corporate M&A/ PE/ VC experience is a plus,
  • Strong strategic thinking to support business strategy development with solid research and analytical skills,
  • Excellent communication/ presentation skills and senior stakeholder management,
  • Fluent English (both verbal and writing); Japanese is a plus,
