- Build trusted customer and representative relationships on behalf of the company and create opportunities to showcase our product line and services
- Utilize company technical knowledge and experience to highlight our offering through the initiation of site surveys, engineering and innovation seminars and maintenance opportunities
- Manage client relationships and technical enquiries to deliver customer requirements and high levels of satisfaction
- Serve as a main point of contact for customers and representatives ensuring excellent standards of communication are achieved through verbal and written channels and quickly resolving issues as appropriate
- Understanding and use of a structured sales approach detailing the Value Proposition, identifying stakeholders, establishing a sequence of events, and providing an enticing business proposal along with follow up after close
- Manage key customer activities with our company, to ensure an outstanding end to end customer experience, liaising across other internal departments as appropriate
- Be a subject matter expert for sales and marketing team members with regards to the region of responsibility
- Driving custom engineered projects through the organization, along with the engineering team (CP2 - Custom Product Project)
- Share knowledge and expertise with fellow personnel to foster team accuracy and knowledge base
- Achieve annual sales goals as defined in the fiscal year forecast
- Use of Pricing Tool, Sales Force and D365 system to provide quotes to customers or representatives
- Work in collaboration with wider sales team to impact and drive sales globally
- Support the wider team functions and carry out other tasks where required
- Participate in kaizen and other CI events as needed
- Continually work to build technical product knowledge such as - disc sizing requirements, conversion of competitor disc positions, product applications and industry standards and certifications
- Actively participate in Process Improvements across the business
- Work with Segment Leadership and Diversification team to develop new opportunities through customer interviews
- Participate in new products or service projects (CP3 – Custom Product Portfolio Project)
- Feed the CRM system with customer information, sales calls made, quotes submitted and all other sales related required information.

- Mandarin (fluent), English (fluent), another language is a plus.
- Working knowledge of pressure management in industrial settings
- Industrial sales experience
- Knowledge of a CRM system and business system e.g. SAP, Epicor, D365, Oracle
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence systems e.g. MS Power BI
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification) in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Science or relevant technical field.
- Five to eight years of successful outside sales and/or outside sales management experience in China.
- Travel within region up to 60%
- Prior experience of developing sales strategies and tactics to help drive sales.
- Prior experience of working with various sales models, including the use of Manufacturers Representatives, Non-stocking Distributors or Channel Partners.
