- Build and keep good relationship with customer, especially with key account.
- Discuss with customer for quotation, technical and commercial contract..
- Regular report to line manager about business status and news.
- Be responsible for the acquisition of new business with the team in the region (or country)
- Develop a customer strategy for business development
- Negotiate price by agreement with sales team
- Ensure transparency concerning the customer's target prices and competitors' prices
- Together with Sales and project managers, check incoming RFQs for completeness and plausibility
- Be responsible for following up quotations given to the customer
- Coordinate in-house exhibitions and presentations, top management events and meetings
- Observe technical trends and requirements and the activities of the competition
- Identify and record the NMP customer requirements
- Carry out the sales planning with regard to the Team in the region
- Execute and coordinate cost reduction measures with regard to products for the customer
- Carry out the performance review of Schaeffler with the Team
- Together with Sales/GKAM, settle warranty claims and review commercial aspects
- Take overall responsibilities for handling of customer specific requirements (CSR) according to the procedure P170202
- Escalate delayed deliveries, bottlenecks, DOH, etc.
- Perform all the activities of a GKAM if there is no GKAM in place
- University degree, preferably with a technical background (e.g., mechanical/electrical engineering, business administration and engineering).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a key account manager in market sales or mechanical manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of business processes, products, and markets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, teamwork, and intercultural skills; experience working in multinational teams is a plus.
- Strong sales orientation, goal-driven mindset, and outstanding negotiation skills, with the ability to balance stakeholder interests and drive collaboration.
- Proficiency in business English with confident application in professional settings.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities to gather market and competitive intelligence, identify growth opportunities, and develop implementation strategies.
- Willingness to travel, with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to think cross-functionally while respecting overall business interests.
