- Direct Stakeholder Engagement:Personally conduct deep-dive interviews, workshops, and desk-side observations with Media Strategy and Planning teams. You must proactively identify user pain points and workflow friction without relying on others to collect this information.
- Workflow Mapping:Create detailed "As-Is" and "To-Be" process maps to visualize complex media planning workflows (e.g., Reach & Frequency calculations, Audience Segmentation), identifying opportunities for automation and productization.
- Cross-Functional Translation:Act as the translator between non-technical business users (Strategy/Planning) and technical engineering teams. You must be comfortable explaining business context to developers and technical constraints to planners.
- Product Ownership & Rigorous Documentation
- Technical Writing:Produce high-quality, developer-ready documentation. You will personally write User Stories(using standard formats like Gherkin/Acceptance Criteria), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and API integration requirements in English.
- Backlog Management:Own and groom the product backlog. You will prioritize features based on business value and technical feasibility, working directly with the PMO Lead to align scope with delivery windows.
- Developer Collaboration:engage directly with Global and Local developers during sprints to clarify logic, review prototypes, and make real-time trade-off decisions.
- Quality Assurance & Validation
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT):define UAT plans and personally validate that delivered software meets the acceptance criteria before release.
- Data Validation:Ensure the accuracy of media logic and algorithms within the tools (e.g., verifying that reach curves are calculated correctly).
- Professional Experience:8+ years in Digital Product Management or Technical Business Analysis. Experience in AdTechor MarTech is strongly recommended.
- Hard Skills - Technical:
- Documentation Tools:Proficiency in Jira (for backlog management) and Confluence (for technical specs) or equivalents.
- Process Mapping:Proficiency in Visio, Lucidchart, or similar tools for creating BPMN or workflow diagrams.
- Data Literacy:Basic to Intermediate SQL skills (ability to query data to validate logic) and a strong understanding of APIs (conceptual understanding of endpoints, JSON payloads, and integrations).
- Domain Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of Media Planning& Strategy workflows is highly preferred.
- Understanding of the China Digital Media Ecosystem(e.g., User IDs, Walled Garden API limitations) is critical.
