
Actuator R&D Engineer

- Be responsible for the benchmarking analysis of actuator products, the development of technical planning, and the formulation and implementation of solutions
- Support the quotation of motor/actuator products, as well as internal and client-side technical/design reviews
- Organize, coordinate and track the prototype, to ensure that the samples meet the design requirements and program timing requirements
- Organize and coordinate the formulation of product test plans, track the completion of Design Validation and Process Validation
- Handle failure or technical problems that occur in product development process
- Be responsible for the actuator design, simulation, analysis, like motor selection, sensor packaging, bearing design, etc.
- Cooperate with other functions/departments to complete project development
- Complete other tasks assigned by the leader

- Meet EHS responsibilities requirement.
- At least five years of design experience in actuators or related products. Candidates with design experience in air conditioning actuators, automotive rearview mirrors actuators, window regulators actuators, electric tailgate actuators, door handle and door lock actuators, and wiper actuators are preferred
- Have experience in gear design, especially plastic gears
- Familiarity with the principles of various types of brushed/brushless motors, as well as knowledge of motor programming control is preferred.
- Be familiar with the selection of DC motors for automotive actuators
- Possess the ability to analyze dimensional tolerance standards GD&T and assembly dimensional stack up analysis
- Proficient in plastic structure design
