This position plays a critical role in driving IT operations and cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring compliance with China’s regulatory requirements and global standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in IT strategy, security governance, and emerging technologies, with a strong focus on M&A integration, IoT ecosystems, Automotive industry platforms, and AI-driven solutions including Large Language Models (LLMs). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement secure, scalable IT solutions, foster innovation, and mitigate risks in a dynamic business environment.Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with China’s regulatory requirements (DSL, CSL, PIPL, MLPS) and global security standards (ISO 27001, NIST CSF).
- Actively participate in M&A activities, including due diligence, integration planning, and risk mitigation.
- Drive adoption of AI-based solutions, including LLM-powered tools for IT operations, enhancing business operations, and automating compliance processes.
- Lead implementation of cybersecurity programs for IoT and automotive systems.
- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business objectives, focusing on scalability, security, and innovation.
- Monitor regulatory changes and emerging threats; update security roadmaps accordingly.
- Conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response planning.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure secure design and deployment of IoT and automotive platforms.
- Provide practical guidance to business units and project teams on IT and security best practices.
- Conduct training and awareness programs on cybersecurity and compliance.
- Manage IT infrastructure, applications, and service delivery for the China region.
- Oversee vendor relationships and ensure third-party compliance with security standards.
- Lead remediation efforts for identified risks and coordinate response to security incidents.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive IT and cybersecurity experience, including leadership roles.
- Proven track record in M&A IT integration and risk management.
- Hands-on experience with IoT, automotive systems, and AI technologies including LLM-based solutions.
- Strong understanding of China regulatory requirements (DSL, CSL, MLPS, PIPL).
- Familiarity with global security standards (ISO 27001, NIST CSF).
- Expertise in security risk assessment, incident handling, and compliance frameworks.
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, ISO27001 preferred; CISA, CIPM a plus.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin required.
- 6+ years of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree.
8+ years of IT-related work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.
- 2+ years of experience leading projects/programs.
- Collaborates with individuals inside own team and with other teams to complete project work.
- Communicates verbally and in writing with teams via email and direct conversation.
- Manages the performance of team members by meeting regularly with each member to discuss current and future state of key projects, identifies developmental opportunities, and evaluates performance based on key metrics.
- Identifies and promotes a unifying vision throughout the team with associated day-to-day goals and creates a climate in which people want to contribute.
- Develops, coaches, and mentors members of the team and provides development assignments.

- Collaborates with other teams to develop requirements for complex process or system solutions within assigned business domain(s) by interfacing with stakeholders and appropriate IT teams (e.g., Solutions Delivery, Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture), and leads IC/Sup team members in the development process, as appropriate.
- Allocates workload (which includes key decisions, project management, and resource allocation) among team members by taking into consideration employee availability, skill set, and current workload when making assignments.
- Provides insight and supports the evolution of applications, systems, and/or processes to a desired future state by maintaining a comprehensive understanding of how current processes impact business operations across multiple domains.
