- Conduct teaching duties as assigned by the school
- Lead the implementation and ongoing development of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP)
- Oversee the division’s teaching operations and drive the overall design, optimization, and documentation of the curriculum system, including POI and curriculum maps
- Develop and strengthen curriculum/departmental curriculum identity to ensure high-quality learning experiences
- Stay up to date with IB publications and ensure all practices align with IB documentation, standards, procedures, and implementation requirements
- Ensure staff are informed of and aligned with IBO-related decisions, updates, and publications
- Organize and improve management documentation to support effective PYP implementation and clarify teaching systems and routines
- Implement teaching routine management to ensure orderly daily teaching operations
- Plan and lead collaborative lesson preparation for subject and grade teams, providing guidance and support
- Facilitate lesson study and departmental teaching discussions to ensure integrated learning is effectively delivered and intended outcomes are achieved
- Contribute to the school’s strategic development planning
- Plan and coordinate professional development for the teaching team, promoting opportunities and organizing training to strengthen instructional quality
- Build connections with IB World Schools locally and internationally to share resources, learn from best practice, and promote collaboration
- Support and guide the planning of primary school learning exhibitions and student learning showcases
- Work with department leaders to secure appropriate resources for programme implementation and development
- Support the development of middle leadership and grassroots teaching management capacity to ensure consistent curriculum implementation and sustainable quality improvement
- Promote the development of a strong learner community and lead parent/community communication around IB philosophy and learner concepts
- Bachelor’s degree or above (Education or a related field preferred)
- Teaching qualification such as QTS / PGCE / TEFL / national teaching certification
- At least 6 years of teaching experience, including 3+ years of IB Coordinator and/or leadership/management experience
- Monthly salary of 30,000 to 40,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
- Annual flight allowance of up to 10,000 RMB
- Relocation allowance of up to 2,000 RMB
