- Ensure built-in quality through Agile Execution Model and Offer Lifecycle Management (OLM).
- Define and lead the Quality Action Plan across agile increments.
- Deploy and coach teams on Design for Safety & Reliability, Software Quality Fundamentals for hardware and firmware team.
- Drive reliability planning (targets, budgets), robustness design reviews, and validation strategies (HALT/HASS, accelerated life testing, EMC/thermal stress).
- Partner with design team to align Critical-to-Quality (CTQs) with design and validation plans.
- Represent customer perspective (Voice of Customer) in design decisions and risk reviews.
- Own global offer quality performance; set annual targets and improvement initiatives.
- Consolidate quality data (manufacturing, supplier, field) and lead Issue-to-Resolution (I2R) and Problem-to-Prevention (P2P) activities.
- Conduct customer risk analysis for non-conformities; decide and execute stop delivery and derogations when needed.
- Manage customer-facing communications for quality issues, offer evolution, and withdrawals.
- Establish and run surveillance plans (field data, IoT feedback, reliability dashboards); monitor and act on results.
- Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned integration into future designs.
- Authority to escalate business risks and convene cross-functional reviews for urgent issues.
- Product Squad members: Product Owner (PO), Scrum Master (SM), Technical Product Owner (TPO), hardware/firmware leaders, verification/validation, industrialization etc.
- Global CS&Q: League Quality Leads, central quality/reliability experts.
- Country CS&Q: Country CS&Q managers and field quality teams.
- GSC & Plants: Plant quality managers/engineers, supplier quality, manufacturing engineering.
- League Management: P&L leaders, offer managers.
- Field & Reliability: Field Failure Rate, Firmware Quality Index, MTTF etc.
- Customer Experience: internal/external customer complaints management, Issue-to-resolution, customer major issue containment time etc..
- Design Quality: DFMEA, Reliability & robustness design process, software/firmware defects management etc.
- Bachelor or Master's in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (or related).
- 5+ years in quality management for electronic products, covering both hardware and firmware development in a global environment.
- Full-lifecycle quality experience: from design, industrialization, manufacturing to customer in use.
- Solid command of quality methodologies: FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D, 5Why, DOE etc.
- Hardware quality: understand the reliability and robustness by design for industrial product.
- Firmware/Software quality: Agile/Scrum, Development lifecyle (DevOps) incl. CI/CD, static code analysis, coding standards, defect management etc.
- Customer-oriented, strong influence & communication skills; proven ability to challenge and align cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership, ownership mindset, and multicultural collaboration experience.
- Fluent in English.
- Domain knowledge in Protection Relays or similar products in electrical network.
- Familiarity with grid protection and industrial communication protocols (IEC61850, Modbus, etc.).
- Certifications: Six Sigma, Reliability Engineer (e.g., CRE), ISTQB (for firmware testing) or equivalent.
- Experience with global manufacturing plants and supplier quality management (APQP/PPAP, process audits, capability studies).
