  • The Senior Construction Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring quality compliance during construction activities, bringing technical expertise and a rigorous approach to uphold project specifications, international standards, and company requirements across all phases of construction.
Responsibilities
  • You supervise and monitor construction quality activities across disciplines, ensuring alignment with approved Quality Plans and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
  • You provide proactive support to contractors to ensure effective implementation of quality procedures and technical requirements.
  • You conduct and coordinate inspections, audits, and surveillance activities, ensuring timely resolution of non-conformities.
  • You contribute to continuous improvement by identifying recurring quality issues and recommending corrective actions.
  • You interface with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure smooth quality integration throughout project milestones.
  • You lead or support Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and quality incident investigations.
  • You ensure that documentation and records meet project and regulatory requirements for handover and traceability.
  • You mentor quality engineers and share expertise to build overall team capability in quality assurance.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related discipline) or equivalent.
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification is a plus.
  • Multilingual: Proficiency in additional languages is beneficial, especially for international projects with diverse teams.
Experience
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in Oil & Gas construction quality, with strong knowledge of international codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO).
  • Certification as Lead Auditor (ISO 9001), and NDT Level II or equivalent is preferred.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills required.
