Overview:This role will coordinate all seed & chipstock importation requirements, leverage economies of scale and delivering improved service and cost to the OU’s. In addition to significantly improving the current ad-hoc value chains, this role will also be responsible for the creation of new agro value chains such as the import of potatoes from India & Egypt to Indonesia and Vietnam and the export of minitubers from China to Egypt.In addition to the Import & Export component of the role, this role will also be responsible for leading the APAC Agro Productivity agenda. Responsibilities:Import/Export:
  • Define and lead end-to-end APAC Agronomy import & export strategy that will manage the movement of potatoes (minitubers, seed & chipstock).
  • Develop the protocols that will define how each of the OU’s sources it’s imported seed & chipstock requirements, leveraging the FG Import/Export model and the business IBP/S&OP program. These protocols will deliver:
ØRobust supply agreementsØImproved service metricsØReduced costØStandardized receiving protocols
  • Lead a matrix organization, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be the face of PepsiCo APAC potato importation with all external suppliers across a diverse range of countries.
  • Collaborate with the agro teams across markets to ensures best practice sharing and deployment of applicable projects across markets.
Productivity:
  • Lead the APAC Productivity agenda across both Commodity spend and Operating spend components of the value chain, delivering productivity annually.
  • Systemize the reporting of agro productivity working collaboratively with the Agro finance team.
  • Lead the APAC Agro Productivity forum and be the APAC representative on the Global Productivity forum.
  • Collaborate with the agro teams across the markets to ensures best practice sharing and deployment of applicable projects across markets. Qualifications:
