So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.Who you are:We are looking Team Leader of Project System Engineering for our Business Unit Heat & Gas Systems (BU HGS) Qingdao Marine site. As a Team Leader, you are working in our Engineering & Supply organization, and you are part of Project System Engineering team. Your work is to lead Project System Engineering team in Qingdao which is working in order execution of capital sales and service projects. Your team is working with boilers, burners, heaters, gas combustion units, exhaust gas cleaning products and related system components. Project System Engineering team will ensure that system design and components fit to project specific requirements before handing over to customer, manufacturing and purchasing. You are reporting locally to E&S Site Manager, and you have operational dotted line to Project System Engineering Team Manager in E&S. You and your team are closely working with E&S colleagues in Europe and project teams & Alfa Laval’s sales companies & customers in Northeast Asia and our factory in Qingdao.

To lead, overlook and motivate the team on day-to-day basis to meet operational targets and performance development goals.
Be responsible for (aligned with functional managers in E&S) planning, approvals, capacity management and competence management of teams.
You have applicable technical education (M.Sc./B.Sc.)
Experience of leading people. You have been working before as a people’s manager
Experience with process engineering, marine or manufacturing industry

What you know:Background & Experience

Marine or similar international industry
Min. 2-3 years of experience with team leading/managing.
You have experience working with the ERP system.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Change Management
Coaching
Cross cultural understanding
Microsoft and similar applications
Financial acumen (Reporting and budget/cost management)
Experience with P&ID and process systems
