Regional Category Lead

• Accountability for the full sourcing execution of assigned raw materials for APAC
• Understanding of raw materials: analyzing the market, preparing sourcing strategies, utilization of a formal RFP process with implementation and tracking of results.
• Align and formal execution of global procurement strategies and best practices associated with bidding, negotiation, and supplier development.
• Sourcing of assigned raw materials in APAC and aligning with global strategic/APAC strategic approach together with the Global /Regional Category Leader.
• Identification, attaining commitment, and implementation of cost-out improvement opportunities to create structural and sustained advantages.
• Development of “should cost” and “make versus buy” financial models which provide predictive analysis to support decision making.
• Provide forward looking guidance on trends, threats, and opportunities throughout the complete feedstock and supply chain, update forecasted price periodically.
• Development of contingency and risk mitigation plans.
• Building positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Identify new supplier and lead the whole qualifications to expand the supply base
• Utilizing e-technologies (i.e, e-RFP’s, Internet searches, reverse auctions, etc.)Ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety, and Responsible Care programs
