
Area Sales Manager, China

- Sales activities in the People's Republic of China and, if necessary, in other Asian regions with responsibility for the sales targets set annually with the sales manager.
- Active participation in sales processes from needs analysis and quotation preparation to contract conclusion.
- Coordination of the general business activities of Kern Microtechnik GmbH on site.
- Support of sales partners (trade and OEM) in the area of application.
- Acquisition of new customers and identification of new sales channels.
- Conceptual research and preparation for activities in new market segments.
- Independent handling of tasks for sales management, such as creation, preparation, and maintenance of sales-related data, creation of potential analyses, project work, sales concepts, and customer training.
- Provide regular updates showing the status of the sales funnel, active opportunities and visit/contact reports.
- Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and similar events as needed to enhance market presence and generate leads.
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in sales of instrumentation into China markets.
- Possess knowledge of precision machining and applications in major markets.
- Active working knowledge of the sales landscape and market dynamics in China.
