Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.What you will doResponsible for accuracy and quality of all trade across the regionAdvisory and compliance in relation to benefits/ scheme under Customs and Foreign Trade Policy, Free Trade Agreements, Advance Authorization, CPTPP,RCEP, etc. to support for business decision.Monitoring regulatory and legislative changes and take appropriate steps to protect and optimize interest of the Company on compliance and cost saving.Identify potential optimization regarding operating costs within local/region and opportunities for reducing customs duty spend with the usage of applicable customs regimes.Drive continuous improvement for all processes associated with import /export on compliance and efficiency.Provide consultant to all escalated customs execution issues for customs area related to the daily operations.Advisory on classification of goods under Customs Tariff Act and drive all site import & export data consistency.Litigation management with all stakeholders under Customs and Foreign Trade Policy .Experience in SAP environment and accounting of benefits accrued and realized on exports.Custodian of trade flows approved by the GlobalDrive strategic and special programs and projects like optimization of tolling, AEO benefits, duty optimization and refund strategies, etc.Provides regional trade consulting, training and knowledge sharing to all stakeholdersRisk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks related to customs compliance, such as potential delays, penalties, or audits.Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: guide operation team to identify and solve problems related to customs compliance, and supporting them in making decisions that align with company policies and regulatory requirements. This may involve providing guidance, offering solutions, and escalating issues as needed.We believe you haveBachelor's Degree in international Trade, Foreign Trade, International Business, Business Administration or Accounting.Desirable to have the “Customs Operation Certification” or “Customs Compliance Officer” certification.Minimum 10 years of proved experience leading and ensuring strict compliance,Free Trade Agreements and coordinating AEO, Tolling programs.Must have an extensive and updated technical knowledge in virtual import/export operations, and attending Customs authorities' audits.Must have Power BI, PPT, Power Query knowledge and advanced Excel knowledge.Required SAP expert user.English fluency in written and verbal.Project management and leadership skillsDesired competences: data analysis competence, continuous improvement tools; numerical and financial analysis and risk analysis methodologies. Disciplined, high sense of urgency, self motiviated, result driven style, proactive and manage complexity.This role needs to travel within Great China and immediately when needed.We Offer You
