As a Premium-tier Partner of Meta and Google, we maintain the highest standards of platform excellence and integration.About the RoleWe are looking for a Software Engineer III / Staff Software Engineer – Growth Lead to drive global product-led growth (PLG) and user adoption across Wati’s platform.In this role, you will lead Wati’s global growth engineering efforts, working closely with product, data, and design teams to improve activation, conversion, engagement, and retention across a diverse international user base.You will combine strong engineering execution with product and business thinking, building growth systems, running experiments, and shipping features that directly improve key growth metrics across multiple markets. This role requires someone who is highly data-driven, execution-oriented, and comfortable operating at the intersection of product, engineering, and global growth strategy.What You Will Do

Lead engineering initiatives that improve activation, conversion, and user adoption across Wati’s global user base

Design and implement growth experiments (A/B testing, feature rollouts, funnel optimization) to drive measurable improvements in product metrics across different markets

Work closely with product managers and designers to identify high-impact opportunities across onboarding, activation, and engagement funnels

Build and maintain global growth infrastructure, including experimentation frameworks, analytics instrumentation, and growth tooling

Use product data and behavioral signals to identify bottlenecks in the user journey across different regions and customer segments

Continuously iterate on onboarding flows, conversion funnels, and engagement features to improve global product adoption

Requirements

5+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably in SaaS or product-led companies

Experience working on product growth, activation, or conversion optimization

Proven experience improving product metrics such as activation rate, conversion rate, or retention

Strong data-driven mindset, with experience using product analytics and experimentation to guide decisions

Strong product and business intuition, with the ability to connect engineering work to real user and business impact

Experience working with experimentation frameworks, analytics platforms, or growth infrastructure is highly preferred

AI-native mindset, actively using AI tools or AI agents in development workflows
