
Manager, Supplier Inventory Management

- Own and manage strategic relationships with key suppliers leveraging Wayfair's official fulfillment services-CastleGate and Multichannel.
- Lead commercial discussions with suppliers (our “customers”) focused on CG/MC value proposition, adoption plans, and inventory planning across Wayfair and external channels.
- Act as a key escalation point to remove operational blockers and align supplier actions with global standards and expectations.
- Serve as the team's subject matter expert on 3PL and warehouse operations, advising suppliers and internal teams on fulfillment best practices, warehouse flows, and inbound/outbound logistics.
- Partner with local Commercial, Operations, and Marketing teams, as well as global Product and SC Ops, to enhance Wayfair's fulfillment offerings and unlock new supplier growth opportunities.
- Guide and support the team in selling CG/MC services as scalable 3PL solutions and ensuring successful supplier onboarding and retention.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5+ specialists, fostering a high-performance and feedback-driven culture.
- Set clear goals and performance metrics aligned to supplier engagement and MC/CG growth targets.
- Champion cross-functional collaboration, ensuring strong alignment across internal stakeholders (e.g., CM, CGF, MC Product, SC Ops).
- Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in account management, supply chain operations, or logistics/3PL services.
- Proven success managing large, strategic customer relationships-ideally in e-commerce, retail, or fulfillment industries.
- Deep understanding of 3PL/warehouse operations and best practices; capable of educating and guiding both suppliers and team members.
- 2+ years of people management experience, with a track record of building and coaching high-performing teams.
- Fluent English skills, with strong written and verbal communication to collaborate effectively with global and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience selling or launching 3PL/fulfillment services.
- Knowledge of cross-border e-commerce, global supply chains, or similar fulfillment ecosystems.
- Proficiency with data and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Docs, Excel, SQL) for monitoring team performance and driving data-informed decisions.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
