- Formulates competitive bids, estimates, and quotations by considering the best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial aspects for each situation.
- Ensures tenders are well-documented in a timely manner and with an appropriate level of detail, including full and accurate costs.
- Leads and manages the planning and preparation of technical, financial, and, if required, project management aspects of the bid, estimate, and quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions.
- Ensures that inputs for editing activities related to bid, estimate, and quotation preparation are provided in a timely manner and in accordance with the established quality procedures.
- Leads external services, such as translations and governmental approvals, to support bid and estimation preparation.
- Manages the collection and archival of documentation regarding the offer/order and recording of assumptions and decisions made during development.
- Ensures the status of the bids, estimates, and quotations are reported regularly using defined tools and reasons for both lost and won tenders are collected and analyzed.
- Identifies potential risks in the bids, quotations, estimates, and related contract agreements across customers/channels and takes appropriate action.
- Provides information and/or participates in the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy.
- Ensures the information required to prepare the proposal, including both technical and cost elements, is collected and collated in a timely manner and in accordance with the established quality procedures.
- Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to gain a deep understanding of customer needs and ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Ensures technical support is provided to Sales Managers during technical meetings with customers.

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor or above in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, etc.
- 5+ years technology background. Key account customer management &team management experience is preferred;
- Possess good communication and problem solving skills;
- Communication/coordination skills cross function/departments in both Chinese and English;
- Strong Leadership capability. Ability to motive and develop people
- Result-orientated and very responsible
- Strong ability to solve conflicts.
