As Business Development Manager for North Asia, you will be responsible for achieving Net Sales and Incremental EBIT targets at the Group level, with a focus on expanding the company's portfolio and profitability. In addition to developing the FMCG business in North Asia, you will source high-potential FMCG brands from China for export into company's portfolio across Southeast Asia and ANZ.1. Proactively identify and acquire new high-potential clients for North Asia (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan).2. Proactively identify and source for high-potential brands from China to be exported into Southeast Asia and ANZ.3. Assess/screen new business opportunities by conducting feasibility studies through desk research and market/store survey.4. Collaborate closely with Market Leaders and other key local stakeholders (Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Legal etc.) to build up business proposals for new business development leads.5. Negotiate and finalize the Local Distribution Agreement with clients6. Prepare monthly reports and adhoc analysis for reporting to Senior Leadership Team.7. Respond to queries from potential clients in supporting business interactions.8. Conduct research/feasibility studies/market scan (including visiting exhibitions/fairs) to gain better understanding of the market opportunities/trends.9. Formulate the market's business development strategy and set annual targets.10. Ensure business development projects and pipeline are up-to-date11. Support the execution of any new improvement initiatives for business development processes and ways of working to drive effectiveness and minimize redundancy.Big scope covering multi-regions Good company culture and attractive salary package
  • Five years of experience in FMCG industry, especially in sales, marketing, business development related role preferred.
  • Regional experience, particularly within Asia, is an added advantage.
  • Management consulting or marketing research experience is an added advantage.
  • Exposure to managing or understanding Profit and Loss statement is an added advantage.
  • English and Mandarin proficiency is expected
  • Fluency in other Asian language (e.g. Cantonese, Indonesian) is an added
  • Strong stakeholders' management skill (external and/or internal) is expected
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking, analytical/critical thinking and agility to handle complexities and multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Proven proficiencies in Microsoft Office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Exposure and experience with Euromonitor, SAP and Salesforce would be an added advantage
