Accountant I - General Accounting

▪ Be responsible GL and FA functions for middle-size legal entity
▪ Prepare manual GL journal entries, review system generated journal entries and propose adjustment if necessary
▪ Perform month-end closing activities, including closing checklist preparation, posting periods maintenance, and GL closing
▪ Generate and review TB, BS and P&L, prepare financial reports including statutory reports, Hyperion reports, etc.
▪ Coordinate and perform monthly accounts reconciliation, follow up to resolve variances
▪ Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as required
▪ Prepare SOX documentation on GL related functions in order to ensure the documents represent the company's existing situation; and implement an action plan to address the SOX findings in order to ensure compliance with SOX regulations and other Corporate policies
▪ Provide support in external and internal audits
▪ Assist GL Supervisor to identify potential areas for improvement, support the implementation of the initiatives in order to drive continuous optimizationREQUIREMENTS
▪ College degree or above, majoring in accounting, finance or a related field
▪ More than 3 years' working experience in accounting, GL experience in multi-national company or shared service environment is preferred
▪ Good knowledge of US GAAP, PRC accounting standards and related statutory regulations is preferred.
▪ Good communication (written and oral) skills in English
▪ Proficient in MS Office, SAP and Hyperion system experience is preferred
