  • Lead the identification, development, evaluation, and implementation of cutting-edge AI/ML technologies and solutions across product development, clinical applications, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging AI technologies, machine learning algorithms, and data science methodologies applicable to medical diagnostics and treatment.
  • Establish and oversee the AI research and development roadmap, fostering a culture of innovation and scientific excellence within the AI team.
  • Collaborate closely with product development, engineering, clinical affairs, and regulatory teams to ensure the ethical, safe, and effective integration of AI into medical devices and software.
  • Develop and implement robust data governance strategies, ensuring data quality, privacy, and security in compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NMPA).
  • Monitor emerging AI trends, competitive landscapes, and technological advancements to maintain GEHC's leadership position.
Job Qualifications
  • Master or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Biomedical Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in AI/ML leadership or principal engineering roles, preferably within the medical device, healthcare technology.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully developing and deploying impactful AI solutions in complex, regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of medical imaging, diagnostic workflows, and clinical decision support systems.
  • Deep expertise in various machine learning techniques (deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, reinforcement learning) and their application.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and relevant AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex AI concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with cloud AI platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and various AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin is highly preferred.
