Principal ResponsibilitiesAudit portfolio includes Institutional Banking Group (IBG), Risk Management Group (RMG)- Credit Risk, RMG - Operational Risk, Connected Party Transactions and others when required by Head of China Audit:1. Undertake audit engagements as assigned by Team Manager according to audit plan.2. Advise and apprise the Team Manager and Audit Head of major risk, control and regulatory issues arising during the audit.3. Lead and execute the audits in accordance with departmental and professional standards.4. Update and maintain audit risk matrices, including audit work papers for each audit engagement.5. Test and follow up all outstanding audit issues for proper implementation during each audit engagement.6. Maintain key relationships with middle level management and stakeholders, understand and keep abreast of the major initiatives of the assigned business portfolios, raise potential risk and control issues to audit management.7. Leverage various digital / data analysis approaches for continuous improvement of audit effectiveness.8. Keep abreast of own professional development to enhance one's skills and competence.Education and Relevant Experience1. Bachelor or Master degree holder in any field.2. At least 6 years' working experience of external I internal audit, or risk/ control consultancy in banking industry with strong risk/ control mindset.3. Digital or data analysis skillsets / experience for improvement of audit effectiveness.4. Relevant professional or post-graduate qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIA, CISA, CFA, FRM) would be considered desirable.5. Professional report writing in English.6. Strong logic thinking, self-disciplined, proactive and quick learner.
