Company:Qualcomm China## Job Area:Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software Applications EngineeringGeneral Summary:Job FunctionWe are looking for talent software engineers for Qualcomm Customer gaming support, you will work on gaming related features landing on Customer’s Snapdragon based products.You may not realize it, but the QCT division of Qualcomm produces many of the best mobile SOCs on the market. We've produced hundreds of chipsets embedded in our industry-leading Snapdragon platform. If you see someone using a smartphone, there's a good chance its processor is from Qualcomm.Skills/ExperienceExcellent skill of C/C ++ programming. Must have good communication skills and be a team player. The ability to learn quickly with high motivation. The experience of working on game performance and power analysis is a plus. The experience of 3D graphics is a plus, such as GLES, Vulkan or DX. The experience of Android framework, BufferQueue, SurfaceFlinger is a plus. The experience of game rendering technology and game engine (Unity, UE) is a plus. The experience of AI/ML is a plus. Loving of game and familiar with hot games is also a plus. Able to read/write English documents. Good listening and oral English are plus.ResponsibilitiesSupport OEMs to commercialize Snapdragon advanced gaming features, such as FRC, Frame Interpolation, Super Resolution etc. Support OEMs on game optimization including both performance and power. Support OEMs on competitive analysis, including both CPU and GPU. Work with internal team on feature evaluation, and commercialization.Education RequirementsMaster or Bachelor ’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering and related, Master is preferred.Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
- 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.
