David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a multinational financial services company specialising in online trading who is seeking to onboard a Mandarin speaking IB Sales Manager.Position: IB Sales ManagerLocation: RemoteEmployment type: Full-time (Service Agreement). Employment contract if based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
Promote company products and services to prospective and existing clients through various communication channels (phone, email, meetings).
Conduct market research and provide insights or analysis to support client decision-making.
Assist clients with onboarding, account setup, and product usage.
Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with internal teams to achieve business development, sales, and revenue targets.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and opportunities.
Actively present products and services to prospective clients, partners, and affiliates.
Identify, engage, and build partnerships with agents, affiliates, or business introducers.
Stay updated on industry developments, competitive landscape, and emerging trends.
REQUIREMENTS:
Fluent in Mandarin (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication. As well as proficiency in English (at least B2).
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
2–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management (experience in financial services, FinTech, or technology industries is a plus).
Proven experience in the FX industry in an IB Sales Manager or Business Development role.
Established network of Introducing Brokers (IBs), preferably across Southeast Asia and East Asia.
Strong ability to articulate and deliver a compelling unique selling proposition (USP) to clients and partners.
Solid understanding of financial products, markets, or business development strategies.
Ability to analyze market trends and apply insights to client engagement.
Proven track record of meeting sales targets and building long-term client relationships.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and in a team.
