David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a multinational financial services company specialising in online trading who is seeking to onboard a Mandarin speaking IB Sales Manager.Position: IB Sales ManagerLocation: RemoteEmployment type: Full-time (Service Agreement). Employment contract if based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
  • Promote company products and services to prospective and existing clients through various communication channels (phone, email, meetings).
  • Conduct market research and provide insights or analysis to support client decision-making.
  • Assist clients with onboarding, account setup, and product usage.
  • Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to achieve business development, sales, and revenue targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and opportunities.
  • Actively present products and services to prospective clients, partners, and affiliates.
  • Identify, engage, and build partnerships with agents, affiliates, or business introducers.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, competitive landscape, and emerging trends.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Fluent in Mandarin (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication. As well as proficiency in English (at least B2).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management (experience in financial services, FinTech, or technology industries is a plus).
  • Proven experience in the FX industry in an IB Sales Manager or Business Development role.
  • Established network of Introducing Brokers (IBs), preferably across Southeast Asia and East Asia.
  • Strong ability to articulate and deliver a compelling unique selling proposition (USP) to clients and partners.
  • Solid understanding of financial products, markets, or business development strategies.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and apply insights to client engagement.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and building long-term client relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and in a team.
