After a successful launch in Brazil, we are now expanding to Mexico to bring seamless wholesale trade to new markets.JoomPro is one of the key businesses of Joom, an international tech-centric group of e-commerce companies founded in 2016 in Latvia. Joom Group also includes other businesses: Joom, a platform for global shopping; JoomPulse, a data platform that provides analytics and recommendations for marketplace sellers; and Onfy, a pharmaceutical marketplace in Germany. Joom Group has offices in Latvia, China, Portugal, Germany, and Brazil, with its headquarters in Lisbon, Portugal. We work as one international team, sharing knowledge and collaborating across countries, businesses, and products.We are now looking for a Senior Category Manager to design the logic and the process of selecting core assortment products for Joompro and implement it together with the product team via some AI tools and algorithms.Responsibilities
  • Build the Catman system almost from scratch
  • Design the logic and the process of goods selection for B2B customers from overseas markets
  • Create some AI-based solutions for cross-platform analytics
  • Constantly improve prices on the platform
  • Organize other teams (sourcing, merchants recruiting, product team, overseas marketing and sales) for assortment-related complex projects
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of foreign markets and customers' logic and patterns
  • Strong leadership applied both for building own team and implementing cross-team projects
  • Category management experience at an e-commerce platform
  • Experience in traditional B2B trade in China
  • Sufficient in AI usage with experience to use in daily work
  • Flexibility & adaptability to work autonomously in an uncertain and diversified cultural environment.
  • Proficiency in English
