- Develop new insurance relationships by employing effective business development tactics, and liaising with CMB / GBM business heads and RMs to garner appropriate introductions to prospective clients.
- Manage and own the relationships with chosen firms, with the aim of leveraging INSH’s existing propositions and programs to deepen these relationships.
- Act as a filter for everything required by corporate clients in relation to the financial planning of their employees, ensuring their insurance needs are fully understood
- Drive sustainable customer growth and income revenues by promoting INSH's insurance Solutions
- Develop new opportunities to acquire professionals and executives to INSH, by appropriately referring customers to the Private Wealth Planners, focusing on the holistic personal insurance services that INSH can provide
- Coach and collaborate with CMB and GBM to ensure insurance solutions and INSH propositions and programs are known
- Build and develop tactics and methods to build a pipeline of prospective companies, leveraging the Data & Analytics tools and the network of CMB and GBM to support.
- Own, organize and manage worksite marketing seminars with corporate partners to enhance employee insurance concept education, and to drive referrals to Private Wealth Planners
- Bring in new business by partnering with external influencers, who are able to introduce new business opportunities.
- Design comprehensive worksite solution to engage corporate clients and fulfill their needs
- Identify corporate clients’ needs to drive product & proposition development
- Bachelor’s degree in insurance, business, finance, related field or equivalent experience.
- Poven and progressive experience in Life Insurance or Employee Benefits, prefer to be experienced in front line sales, business development. Health & Benefits, retirement consulting & brokerage experience is a plus.
- Strong sales, managerial, interpersonal, organizational, communications, negotiations, lateral thinking and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal business partners as well as external corporate clients especially with the C-level decision makers.
- Extensive knowledge of the financial services industry particularly insurance, retail and wealth management, coupled with the ability to understand and negotiate through the HSBC internal network
- Proven ability to produce timely and accurate MI
- Professional qualification in medicine is an advantage
