Job descriptionPayment Control Manager is involved at all stages of the payment process control, or cost related application forms’ checking and processing, ensure accuracy, timeliness, completeness and comply with company policies and regulatory requirements; and have close collaboration with Finance and related payment requesters.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.In this role, you will:The Manager Operation Development will hold most or all of these responsibilities:· For cost related application forms’ checking and processing, ensure accuracy, timeliness, completeness and comply with company policies and regulatory requirements;· Responsibly for cost related control execution and its control framework enhancement, set up manuals & procedures, ensure implementation of expense policies and procedures across the Company;· Identify and perform deep-dive and thematic reviews on cost issues, timely escalate any concerns to management, second line and control teams, prepare issue summary and follow up the execution of action plans, ensure progress on reviews and findings are properly documented, work with senior stakeholders to agree remediation and compliance strengthening;· Coordinate cost related self-assessment, regulatory gap analysis, audit projects, etc., and working with Finance and business stakeholders to evaluate compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements;· Support to develop systematic controls, engaged in E-expense system enhancement and maintenance, monitor the system of the production environment, ensure the system preventive control design can meet management needs and in compliance with regulation requirements;· Continues enhancement of business awareness, educate and arrange trainings to business functions and relevant stakeholders to comply with the designed control requirements, ensure cost related risks are timely identified and mitigated;· Other Ad-hoc tasks assigned by line manager.RequirementsTo be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:Ø Bachelor degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Audit areas;Ø CICPA qualification or equivalent is preferred;Ø 5+ insurance experience, especially in expense control and audit is preferred;Ø Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English (written and spoken);Ø Ability to manage multiple priorities and effective problem solver;Ø Strong interpersonal skills and detail-oriented;Ø Self-motivated and able to work under pressure;ØComputer literacy: Microsoft word, excel, PPT, etYou’ll achieve more when you join HSBC.HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
