The role will work on client communication domain in GPB&Wealth Digital Servicing to drive new stragegic client communication platform- Alerts and Notifications delivery.The team in Guangzhou is responsible for both the development and maintenance of A&N with big data volume and online analytic capability. HSBC is seeking Full Stack Engineer to join this team to perform the following:

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable components. Set the proper design/development rules for team to follow.
Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle. Make sure backend team fulfill requirements and implemented correctly.

.• Adopt DevOps and Agile principles. Manage AWS cloud Platform for multiple markets to support product lifecycle environments. Develop, Configure and maintain CICD Pipelines and SRE automation jobs.

Ensure test-driven development and close collaboration with global team members. Ensure Testing automation's adoption
Remediate Violations and vulnerabilities for KTLO items
Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.

Support the Alerts and Notificaitons platform in production and ensure prod issues are resolved in a timely manner to maintain production stability. This will involve close collaboration with the global teamRequirementsEssential Experience

Qualification in Information Technology and have development exeprience on both system backend and front end.
Experience in Information Technology, typically focused on software application design, development and support. Experience on Client Communication platforms would be a bonus including implementation of Star Schema designs.
Knowledge and experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle
Knowledge and experience in Agile and DevOps development practices
Knowledge of Testing Automation and Application system monitoring and alerting
Self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies and business domain
Excellent communication skills and multiple tasks management skill

Essential technical skills/certs

Java, NodeJS、React、Python
Groovy, terraform
API and micro service technologies
Databases (PostgreSQL)
Application monitoring and test automation best practice and tools
Cloud technologies: (AWS/Alicloud or Azure) and Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Automated deployment tools eg Jenkins

Nice to have:

Desired experience (as advantage)
Knowledge of Client Communication in banking or financial industry
Knowledge of new and emerging technologies such as Cloud, Big Data, AI etc
Knowledge of HSBC policies, processes and procedures is an advantage
