Working with our organization will be rewarding, challenging, and most definitely not be just another job.What are we looking for in an ideal candidate:We are seeking a high performing Lead Software Engineer to play a meaningful role in the furthering Nike Greater China’s Commerce Capabilities.The candidate needs to have experience and an understanding of contemporary development, testing, and observability techniques and tools in a DevOps environment.A learning mindset, excellent coding skills, and strong written and verbal communication are essential.Scope and Responsibilities:As a Lead Software Engineer, your primary role on the team will be to lead the design, build, test, deploy, and maintenance of technology solutions. You will work closely with our global partners, and lead GC team to ensure delivery of sustainable technology solutions that meet business requirements and key product outcomes.It is Lead Software Engineer’s responsibility to partner with program, product, and engineering peers to ensure we are aligning appropriate technology outcomes with prioritized leadership initiatives.Qualifications:
  • Fluent reading/writing in English, and excellent communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information sciences or related field
  • 10+ years of programming experience in Java, Python
  • Solid understanding of the programming language, and one widely used framework like Spring, Spring Boot
  • Demonstrated delivery experience in a microservice architecture at scale
  • Deep understanding and practical application of modern build, continuous integration, and testing strategies
  • Experience working in a cloud-based environment (e.g. Amazon EC2, Ali Cloud, Azure, etc.)
