Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.In this role, as a Material Planner you will be handling end-to-end planning of inventory in excess of invoicing, from purchase requisition to customer invoice, assisting internal customer service inquiries for Electrification Business Area in Xiamen, China.Your responsibilities

Purchase order: Ensure optimized translation of purchasing requisition to purchase order, release order to supplier, PO incoming monitoring & reschedule& cancel based on actual customer order situation
Resolve material shortage: Cooperate with cross function to provide solution for potential shortage or shortage material, ensure continual material supply and customer order OTD
Invoice and Payment: Invoice issue coordination and PO on-time payment monitoring
Segmentation and safety stock: set segment portfolio of material through A/B/C&X/Y/Z&F/M/R analysis, product lifecycle management, define safety stock according to service level, segmentation, purchasing mode, and quality level
Inventory parameters: Calculate and maintain inventory parameters in ERP, include safety stock, ROP, lot size, lead time and replenishment strategy
Inventory control :Manage MRP exception message on daily basis, support cycle counting and year end counting
Inventory performance: Analyze excess and obsolete/aging inventory, take appropriate action for optimizing inventory performance
Supplier base management: Obtain best supplier performance through daily work with supplier on OTD, quality, LT optimization and flexibility
Other optimization project or task assigned by line manager

Your background

Bachelor and above degree, professional knowledge in material planning, purchasing and inventory management
Good data analysis ability, high sensitivity to find the issue and analyze the root cause, identify potential risk and find solution
Good English listening, speaking, reading, and writing level, has some financial knowledge.
Use office software like excel, PowerPoint professionally, be skilled in SAP is preferred
Understand factory operation process, know the normal material planning method, purchasing process and KPI;
At least 3 years material planning and purchasing experience in foreign owned company, better if ever used lean sigma or other equivalent theory to lead optimization task
Open minded and active in communication, accountable and can bear stress.
