BASIS International & Bilingual Schools Chengdu is seeking qualified candidates for a College Admissions Counselor for the 2026-27 school year!As a College Counselor at BASIS International & Bilingual Schools Chengdu, you will be responsible for teaching a daily college counseling workshop to 12th graders, completing college counseling reports, and serving as the Senior Research Project (SRP) coordinator. You will also organize college admissions visits each fall, conduct family college counseling evenings, meet one-on-one with 10th and 11th graders during the academic year, and instruct students on completing college admissions applications and financial aid applications and obtaining recommendations.Additionally, this individual will be responsible for developing new program ideas, co-leading college information evening sessions, and developing and maintaining college planning and career assessment and readiness software such as Naviance. You will have the opportunity to work closely with both students and parents on selecting the correct college or university based on the student’s career trajectory. This position is focused on student success and readiness for college and university study in the United States and other countries.About BASIS International & Bilingual Schools ChengduBASIS International & Bilingual Schools Chengdu opened in 2022 and serves students in Grades Pre-K – 11, with courses eventually being offered through Grade 12 and a capacity of over 1,800 students.
